Appleton Learning Brings Academic Coaching to Jones Valley
Second Company-Owned Branch Set to Open January 2012
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Jan. 6, 2011) – Appleton Learning, a private education organization that provides individualized academic coaching, test preparation, academic testing and assessments for students of all ages, believes it is time to take on the status quo of learning in America with an ambitious goal of disrupting the tired teaching paradigm. Launched in 2004, the company is opening its second corporate-owned location in the Jones Valley area this January.
Expanding the Idea of Learning
After the success of its first corporate location and headquarters in Madison, Appleton Learning is expanding to Jones Valley to move closer to students in Huntsville in order to best serve their needs. The location will take a non-traditional approach with its innovative branch design.
“By opening a second branch, Appleton Learning will be able to serve more academic coaching and ACT test prep students in the greater Huntsville area,” explains Glenn Clayton, CEO of Appleton Learning. “We are nearly at capacity at the Madison branch, especially in our ACT test prep course, and although we will only be accepting a limited number of students at our new Jones Valley branch, we are excited about the opportunity for more students in Huntsville to take part in our various programs and offerings.”
The Jones Valley branch will hold its grand opening enrollment event on January 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Ribbon Cutting with the Chamber of Commerce Huntsville/Madison County to take place at 11:00 a.m. Appleton enrollment is limited to 100 students – allowing Appleton to focus on providing elite instruction for those select students. The first 100 students at the event will receive a t-shirt and will be entered into a drawing to win an iPad.
In addition to the growth in Huntsville, the company plans to open 30 branches across the Southeast by 2015. In addition to these branches, which serve private pay clients, Appleton continues to partner with schools throughout the region to help them rethink learning.
